I was talking with a friend of mine one day about the things we say to our kids that we never thought we'd say out loud. I don't remember what prompted the conversation in the first place...surely it was something that emerged from the mouth of one of my two children...but I do remember her response...
"THOMAS!!! DO NOT PEE ON THE DOG!!!"
... were the words she shared with me about her son... obviously named Thomas.
Each time something comes out of my mouth that simply defies logic, I try and remember since I've been planning this blog for a while, but I usually forget before I can get my hands on a computer.
I just got lucky though...
It's lunch time. I was just having a conversation with my son about what he wanted to eat. My response was as follows:
"No. You cannot have M&Ms on your sandwich."
So I'm not sure where this will lead, but I do want to capture these random things I never thought I'd say...
